The Dukan Diet
The Dukan diet is a low-carb, high-protein diet - very similar to The Atkins Diet.
Commonly referred to as "The Princess Diet" due to rumours that Kate Middleton and her mother used it to get into shape for the Royal Wedding.
There is no limit to how much you can eat on The Dukan Diet, as long as you stick to the rules of the plan.
There are four phases to the Dukan Diet Plan - Attack, Cruise, Consolidate, and Stabilise.
Phase one (Attack) is a strict lean protein diet.
Carbs are not allowed - apart from a small amount of oat bran.
The next two phases (Cruise and Consolidate) introduce fruit, veg and carbs.
The aim is to promote long-term weight management.
The final phase (Stabilise) allows most foods - but requires protein-only day once a week - and taking regular exercise.
A diet fit for a princess? Possibly - if the rumours are true!
An ideal choice if you want to shift weight very quickly - and are not addicted to carbs, fruit, veg and/or sugar.
