| A trip to St Michael's Mount is a great adventure. At low tide you can walk to this magical island - across the cobbled causeway. And when the tide is in, you can get there on the local motor-boat ferry. Park in the Marazion car park and cross the beach to the causeway. Or find the motor-boat at the end of the small pier. When you get to the island, you can visit the castle and/or the lovely gardens. There is also a cafe, a restaurant, two shops and barbecue facilities. There is no transport on the island - and the cobbled paths are steep. But if you are in reasonable health, it is well worth the effort! |
